Right to Hunt
The Idaho Senate Passed a Bill that would give Idahoans the Constitutional Right to Hunt. The measure will be on the November 2012 ballot. If the Amendment receives majority approval from Idaho voters, it will limit the authority and rights of the Idaho Fish and Game as well as animal rights activists and the Federal Government. This is a Good Amendment. Ensuring that this Amendment is added to the Idaho Constitution is another good reason to vote in November. This is exciting news considering that the right to bear arms and our rights to hunt are looked at by many as mere "privileges" rather than fundamental rights. Outdoor enthusiasts are under constant attack by certain governmental agencies and private groups to diminish an activity that many of us look forward to on a daily basis.
